Department Profile:
Department was established in 2011 by considering the needs of rural and tribal student of the region. The department has well furnished & well equipped laboratories with state of the art facilities. Department offers B.Sc Physics degree as per University of Pune and has a consistently up growing result. The department is proud to have a maximum strength for T.Y and has received an overwhelming response from the students..
Many eminent professors like Prof. Khade R.L, Prof Miss.Shinde M.N, J.A., Prof. Miss.Adik P.D., Prof. Khade R.L have headed the department. Our department organize science festival on the occasion of science day.

Mission
The mission of the Department of Physics is to be a global, socially conscious Center of Excellence in the conservation, creation, extension of knowledge and technology.
Objectives
- Improve the fundamental concepts and advanced techniques of Physics and scientific methodology.
- Enhance intellectual, computational, experimental, communication and analytical skills of the students.
- Provide the students with the currently modern techniques in Physics.
- Enhance the ability of the students to seek, acquire and process data from different sources using the library and the internet.
- Encourage original research and innovative work.
